PEGGY ANN NED, Petitioner v. COMMISSIONER OF INTERNAL REVENUE, Respondent

ORDER

Eunkyong Choi Special Trial Judge

This case is currently calendared for trial at the Court's Standalone Remote, trial session, which is scheduled to begin May 9, 2022. On April 8, 2022, respondent filed a Motion for Continuance. Respondent indicated in his motion that he has forwarded petitioner's administrative file to respondent's independent Office of Appeals for consideration and settlement negotiations with petitioner. A continuance would allow additional time for the Office of Appeals to work with petitioner to engage in meaningful settlement discussions and potentially reach a resolution in this case. Respondent respectfully requested that this case be removed from the May 9, 2022, trial calendar and restored to the general trial docket. Respondent indicated in his motion that petitioner did not object to this motion. After due consideration, it is

ORDERED that respondent's Motion for Continuance, filed April 8, 2022, is granted. It is further

ORDERED that this case is stricken from the Court's above-referenced remote trial calendar and restored to the general docket.
