    In passing upon these points the evidence must be considered in a light most favorable to the jury's findings, considering only the evidence and inferences which support the verdict and rejecting the evidence and inferences which are contrary thereto. A judgment notwithstanding a jury verdict can only be upheld on appeal when a directed verdict would have been proper.
