Opinion

No. ED 107830

11-26-2019

James MURPHY, Appellant, and Vernon Betts, Plaintiff, v. EMPLOYEES RETIREMENT SYSTEM OF the CITY OF ST. LOUIS, et al., Respondents.

ORDER

James Murphy, the retired sheriff of the City of St. Louis, appeals from the summary judgment denying his claim for retirement benefits under the Employees Retirement System of the City of St. Louis ("ERS") on the ground that it was barred by the statute of limitations. There was no error of law in granting summary judgment on that ground. We affirm.

An opinion would have no precedential value nor serve any jurisprudential purpose. The parties have been furnished with a memorandum for their information only, setting forth the reasons for this order pursuant to Rule 84.16(b).
