This case is currently calendared for trial at the Session of the Court commencing on October 17, 2022, in Hartford, Connecticut. On October 14, 2022, the Court held a telephone conference with the parties to discuss the status of the case. During the telephone conference, petitioner expressed the need for more time to obtain documents relevant to substantiating his ownership interest in United American Steel of Virginia for the 2017 and 2018 taxable years (which are the years at issue in this case). Respondent expressed his amenability for the Court to (1) continue and retain jurisdiction over this case and (2) order the parties to file status reports. Upon due consideration, it is hereby

ORDERED that this case is stricken for trial from the October 17, 2022, Hartford, Connecticut Trial Session of the Court. It is further

ORDERED that jurisdiction of this case is retained by this Division of the Court. It is further

ORDERED that the parties shall, on or before November 28, 2022, file status reports, separately or jointly, apprising the Court of the then present status of this case.
