ORDER
We REINSTATE these appeals.
On September 14, 2017, we granted the State's motion and abated these appeals for a hearing on retained counsel Rosalind Kelly who, according to the State, is currently not eligible to practice in Texas. On October 13, 2017, attorney Tanya L. Walker entered an appearance in these cases; the following day, we received a supplemental clerk's record with the trial court's October 13th order stating appellant desires to pursue the appeals and that Ms. Walker will represent appellant.
We DIRECT the Clerk to remove Rosalind Kelly and to substitute Tanya L. Walker as counsel for appellant. Future correspondence shall be sent to Tanya L. Walker at 12200 Ford Road, Suite 210, Dallas Texas 75234.
In light of the above, we VACATE our August 2, 2017 order submitting these appeals without a reporter's record. We ORDER Ms. Walker to provide written verification, by November 1, 2017, that appellant (1) has paid or made arrangements to pay for the reporter's record or (2) is entitled to appeal without paying the fee. See TEX. R. APP. P. 35.3(b)(3). Should Ms. Walker fail to notify the Court, the appeals may be ordered submitted without a reporter's record. See TEX. R. APP. P. 37.3(c).
We DIRECT the Clerk to send copies of this order to Judge Nancy Kennedy, Presiding Judge, Criminal District Court No. 2; to Karren Jones, court reporter, Auxiliary Court No. 1; Tanya Walker; and the Dallas County District Attorney's Office.
