This collection-due-process case was on the December 18, 2023 Los Angeles, California trial calendar. We continued it to enable petitioner to submit an offer in compromise. The parties recently reported that the offer seems serious and is now being considered by the IRS. The case looks headed to settlement, and the parties reasonably ask to report again in the spring if it isn't wrapped up before. It is therefore
ORDERED that on or before April 22, 2024, the parties shall submit settlement documents or file a status report describing their progress.
