Jamillah Kamillah Muhammad Petitioner v. Commissioner of Internal Revenue Respondent

ORDER

Maurice B. Foley, Chief Judge

On June 30, 2021, the Court entered an Order and Decision in this case. On September 27, 2021, petitioner filed a notice of appeal with respect to the Court's Order and Decision. Also, on September 27, 2021, petitioner filed with this Court an Application of Waiver of Filing Fee, using the Tax Court's form. It appears that by doing so petitioner is requesting the waiver of the filing fee for his appeal. Petitioner is advised that the filing of that application is improper as the Tax Court does not have authority to waive the filing fee for an appeal. Any such request must be filed with the appropriate appellate court using that court's form, if any, for that purpose.

Upon due consideration, it is

ORDERED that petitioner's Application for Waiver of Filing Fee, filed September 27, 2021, is stricken from the Court's record in this case.
