ORDER
Before the Court is appellant's December 31, 2018 pro se motion for access to the appellate record and motion for extension of time to file his pro se response to counsel's Anders brief. On October 9, 2018, counsel filed an Anders brief and represented to the Court that she had transmitted to appellant a complete copy of the record. In his motion, appellant represents he did not receive the copy of the record from counsel because he was transferred to the custody of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice on October 16, 2018 and all of his legal mail was "returned to sender."
Accordingly, appellant's motion is GRANTED. We ORDER counsel to send appellant copies of the clerk's and reporter's records and to provide this Court, by January 23, 2019, with written verification that the record has been sent to appellant.
Appellant's pro se response to the Anders brief is due by March 25, 2019. If appellant does not file a pro se response by March 25, 2019, the appeal will be submitted upon the brief of counsel.
We DIRECT the Clerk to send a copy of this order, by electronic transmission, to counsel for the parties.
