Angel L. Morales Petitioner v. Commissioner of Internal Revenue Respondent

ORDER

Cary Douglas Pugh Judge.

On September 30, 2021, John Barry Schimmel filed an Entry of Appearance for petitioner. The Entry of Appearance was not proper as Mr. Schimmel listed his own name rather than petitioner's name as the "Party/Parties". On October 5, 2021, that Entry of Appearance was stricken from the record, and Mr. Schimmel was directed to file a corrected Entry of Appearance by October 25, 2021. On October 27, 2021, we received a joint Motion for Continuance from the parties. To date, Mr. Schimmel has not filed a corrected entry of appearance, making the motion for continuance improper. Upon due consideration and for cause, it is hereby

ORDERED that, on or before November 8, 2021, Mr. Schimmel shall file a corrected Entry of Appearance and explain to the Court why he failed to comply with the Court's October 5, 2021 Order. It is further

ORDERED that in addition to regular service, the Clerk of the Court shall serve a copy of this Order on Mr. Schimmel at the address listed in the Motion for Continuance. 1
