Opinion

No. 89-2432.

November 29, 1990.

Appeal from the Circuit Court for Orange County; Michael F. Cycmanick, Judge.

James B. Gibson, Public Defender, and Michael S. Becker, Asst. Atty. Gen., Daytona Beach, for appellant.

Robert A. Butterworth, Atty. Gen., Tallahassee, and Bonnie Jean Parrish, Asst. Atty. Gen., Daytona Beach, for appellee.

Shawn Moore, a juvenile at the time he committed the crimes of burglary of a dwelling and grand theft, appeals the imposition of adult sanctions and his sentence to the Department of Corrections. Because the trial judge failed to follow the procedure set forth in section 39.111, Florida Statutes (1987), we reverse and remand for resentencing. Keith v. State, 542 So.2d 440 (Fla. 5th DCA 1989).

REVERSED and REMANDED for resentencing.

DAUKSCH, GOSHORN and PETERSON, JJ., concur.
