BRANDY LEIGH MOORE, Appellant v. JAY CHRISTOPHER MOORE, Appellee

From the 18th District Court Johnson County, Texas
Trial Court No. DC-D201600897

MEMORANDUM OPINION

Brandi Moore appealed the trial court's Final Protective Order issued against her. By a motion for nonsuit, Brandi has informed the Court that she no longer wishes to pursue the appeal.

The Texas Rules of Appellate Procedure do not provide for a party's ability to nonsuit an appeal. Because Brandi does not wish to continue with her appeal, we interpret her motion as a motion to dismiss. See TEX. R. APP. P. 42.1(a)(1). Cf. TEX. R. CIV. P. 162.

The motion is granted, and this appeal is dismissed.
