ORDER

Before this Court is self-represented Petitioner Matthew G. Monforton's Petition Challenging Attorney General's (1) Legal Insufficiency Determination and (2) Fiscal Statement concerning a proposed constitutional initiative for the 2024 ballot, pursuant to § 13-27-316(1), MCA. Monforton seeks two forms of relief through a Court Order-overruling the Attorney General's determination of Ballot Issue #2 as legally insufficient and invalidating the fiscal statement for Ballot Issue #2.

Upon review of Monforton's Petition and attachments, we deem it appropriate for a response. Therefore, IT IS ORDERED that Respondent Attorney General Austin Knudsen and/or Respondent Secretary of State Christi Jacobsen file a response within thirty days from the date of this Order.

The Clerk of the Supreme Court is directed to provide a copy of this Order to all counsel of record and to Matthew G. Monforton personally.
