ORDER

The motion for immediate consideration is GRANTED.

The motion for peremptory reversal under MCR 7.211(C)(4) is DENIED for failure to persuade the Court of the existence of manifest error requiring reversal and warranting peremptory relief without argument or formal submission.

The application for leave to appeal is GRANTED. This appeal is limited to the issues raised in the application and supporting brief. MCR 7.205(E)(4).

On the Court's own motion, this appeal is EXPEDITED. Appellant shall file a brief on the merits within 28 days of the entry of this order. Appellees may file a response within 28 days of the proof of service date of appellant's brief. No further extensions of time will be allowed without permission of the Court. The Clerk's Office is directed to place this matter on the next available case call.

On the Court's own motion, further proceedings are STAYED pending resolution of this appeal or further order of this Court. This order is not intended to prohibit the trial court from entering an order implementing its May 23,2024 bench ruling clarifying jurisdiction.
