CHRISTOPHER V. MOEIN & ANGELA MOEIN, Petitioners v. COMMISSIONER OF INTERNAL REVENUE, Respondent

ORDER

Christian N. Weiler Judge

This case was remanded to respondent's Independent Office of Appeals for reconsideration. On May 22, 2024, respondent filed a status report stating therein that a telephonic hearing was held on April 24, 2024, in which petitioners agreed to a May 15, 2024, deadline to provide a completed Form 433-A, and supporting documentation of the income and expenses claimed. Respondent's counsel avers that as of the date of the filing of the status report, petitioners had not provided a completed Form 433-A, nor any supporting documentation of the income and expenses claimed.

The report also states that on May 21, 2024, respondent's counsel attempted to call petitioners, however, was unsuccessful in reaching them so petitioners views regarding the status report are unknown.

Considering the foregoing, it is

ORDERED that on or before July 23, 2024, the parties shall file a joint report (or separate reports, if preferred) regarding the status of this case.
