Before the Court is the motion for extension of time to file appellant's brief, filed by appellant's counsel, Ronald Goranson. Mr. Goranson is requesting an extension until January 21, 2025, two weeks after the appellant's brief is due on January 6, 2025 in Dykes v. State, Nos. 05-23-01320-CR, 05-24-01110-CR. We GRANT the motion, and we ORDER Mr. Goranson to file appellant's brief in this appeal by JANUARY 21, 2025. Absent further order from this Court, Mr. Goranson's failure to timely file the brief in Dykes v. State will not affect the date appellant's brief is due in this appeal.
