DIVORCE, § 145disallowance of attorney's fees necessitated by defending appeal. Where, on appeal by wife from that portion of divorce decree awarding husband alimony in lieu of dower and sum of $200 for husband's attorney's fees and costs, husband filed petition for allowance of attorney's fees incurred in defending appeal, and trial court directed wife to pay him sum of $300 for that purpose, whereupon wife appealed from that order, husband would not be entitled to any allowance for such fees, where he filed no brief and took no steps to defend such appeal.

Appeal from Superior Court of Cook county; Hon. RUDOLPH F. DESORT, presiding.

Order reversed. Heard in second division, first district, this court at October term, 1942.
