ORDER
Before the Court is appellant's July 5, 2017 motion for extension of time to file appellant's brief. We GRANT appellant's motion and ORDER the brief received on July 5, 2017 filed as of the date of this order. That brief, however, does not comply with the requirements of the rules of appellate procedure and is deficient as follows:
• It does not contain a proper certificate of compliance. TEX. R. APP. P. 9.4(i)(3).
• It does not contain a proper certificate of service. TEX. R. APP. P. 9.5(e)(2)(3).
• It does not include an appendix as required by rule 38.1(k). TEX. R. APP. P. 38.1(k).
Appellant's amended brief correcting these deficiencies is due within THIRTY DAYS of the date of this order. See TEX. R. APP. P. 38.9. If appellant fails to file an amended brief that complies with the Texas Rules of Appellate Procedure as ordered herein, the case will be submitted on the deficient brief filed July 7, 2017. Appellees' briefs are due SIXTY DAYS from the date of this order.
