Esteban SAN MIGUEL, Appellant v. The STATE of Texas, Appellee

From the 81st Judicial District Court, Wilson County, Texas Trial Court No. CRW2107146 Honorable Jennifer Dillingham, Judge Presiding

ORDER

Beth Watkins, Justice

The clerk's record was originally due June 14, 2024, but was not filed. On June 14, 2024, the district clerk filed a notification of late record, stating that the clerk's record was not filed because appellant had failed to pay or make arrangements to pay the clerk's fee for preparing the record and that appellant was not entitled to appeal without paying the fee.

We ORDER appellant to provide written proof to this court that either: (1) the clerk's fee has been paid or arrangements have been made to pay the clerk's fee; or (2) appellant is entitled to appeal without paying the clerk's fee by June 17, 2024. If appellant fails to respond within the time provided, we will abate this appeal and remand the cause to the trial court for a hearing to determine whether appellant or his counsel have abandoned the appeal. Tex.R.App.P. 38.8(b)(2).

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the seal of the said court on this 17th day of June, 2024.
