On October 19, 2023, petitioner filed the Petition to commence the case at Docket No. 16538-23. That case is currently calendared for trial at the Court's Chicago, Illinois trial session scheduled to commence September 9, 2024.
On June 18, 2024, in an apparent attempt to electronically file a Motion to Proceed Remotely in petitioner's above-referenced case, petitioner inadvertently filed a Petition to commence a separate case at Docket No. 10025-24. That Motion to Proceed Remotely bears Docket No. 16538-23.
Upon due consideration of the foregoing, it is
ORDERED that the Clerk of the Court shall copy the Petition electronically filed on June 18, 2024, to commence the case at Docket No. 10025-24 and file it as of that same date as a Motion to Proceed Remotely in petitioner's case at Docket No. 16538-23. It is further
ORDERED that, on the Court's own motion, the case at Docket No. 10025-24 is closed on the grounds of duplication with respect to petitioner's case at Docket No. 16538-23.
