ORDER

PER CURIAM

On January 17, 2024, we issued an order abating this appeal. The order directed the 310th District Court to conduct a hearing to determine whether appellant desires to prosecute this appeal, and, if so, whether appellant is indigent and, thus entitled to a free record and appointed counsel on appeal. On January 23, 2023, we received appellant's notice of appearance of substitute appellate counsel along with an unofficial copy of the trial court's order appointing attorney ad litem for appellate purposes.

Accordingly, we reinstate the appeal on our active docket. Appellant's brief is due March 6, 2024.
