Paul Meyer, in proper person.

Pamela Jo Bondi, Attorney General, for the State of Florida, and Barbara Debelius, Assistant General Counsel, for the Department of Corrections, Tallahassee, appellees.

Opinion

PER CURIAM.

Paul Meyer appeals from the denial of his petition for writ of habeas corpus. The Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Miami–Dade County did not have jurisdiction to decide the collateral attacks raised in the defendant's petition. Accordingly, we quash the order denying the petition for writ of habeas corpus, without prejudice to the petitioner to seek relief, if appropriate, to the Fifth Judicial Circuit of Lake County. See Broom v. State, 907 So.2d 1261 (Fla. 3d DCA 2005).
