John Metzger & Ellen B. Metzger Petitioners v. Commissioner of Internal Revenue Respondent

ORDER

David Gustafson Judge

This case was scheduled for trial at the Court's session in New York City beginning March 28, 2022; but both parties filed pretrial memoranda that state that the case is likely to be resolved without trial, if the parties are given time to attempt to settle it. The Court held a conference with counsel for both parties on March 15, 2022, and both sides agreed that a general continuance is appropriate. It is therefore

ORDERED that this case is continued generally. It is further ORDERED that the parties' motion for extension of time filed March 10, 2022, is denied as moot.
