Appellants Does 1 through 10 and corporate appellants Metroplex Realty LLC, a Texas limited liability company; Dallas Fort Worth Real Estate Group LLC, a Texas limited liability company dba The Azbell Group; Metroplex Realty Financial Corp., a Texas corporation; The Burgess Real Estate Group; Metroplex Realty Dallas Group; Metroplex Realty Galveston Group; Metroplex Realty Houston Group; and RAD Home Team are not represented by counsel. On September 20, 2023, we ordered them to file, no later than October 18, 2023, a notice of designation of counsel stating the name, State Bar number, mailing and email addresses, and telephone and fax numbers of their attorney(s). See Tex. R. App. P. 6.1(c). This deadline was subsequently extended, on appellants' motion, to November 20, 2023.
Before the Court is appellants' second motion for an extension of time to file the notice of designation. Appellants seek an extension of sixty days.
We GRANT the motion TO THE EXTENT we ORDER the designation notice filed no later than January 10, 2024. As we have previously cautioned, the appeal as to Does 1 through10 and the corporate appellants is subject to dismissal without further notice should the notice of designation of counsel not be filed.
