APPEAL FROM THE 217TH JUDICIAL DISTRICT COURT ANGELINA COUNTY , TEXAS MEMORANDUM OPINION
Walter Metcalf appealed from his conviction for possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver. His counsel filed a motion to dismiss the appeal. In his motion, counsel states that Appellant was involved in a fatal one-vehicle accident and pronounced dead at the scene. Because Appellant is now deceased, the motion to dismiss is granted and the appeal is dismissed. See TEX. R. APP. P. 42.2(a). Opinion delivered February 14, 2018.
