Timothy B. Merriman Petitioner v. Commissioner of Internal Revenue Respondent

ORDER

Maurice B. Foley Chief Judge

An imperfect petition commencing this case was filed on March 10, 2021. By order issued on May 26, 2021, the Court directed petitioner, on or before July 12, 2021, to file a proper amended petition and pay the Court's $60.00 filing fee in this case (or submit an application for waiver of filing fee for consideration).

On July 6, 2021, petitioner filed a First Amendment to Petition. Upon review of the petition, as amended, the Court concludes that petition, as amended suffices, and that petitioner need not file an amended petition. However, the filing fee in this case remains unpaid. The foregoing considered and for cause, it is

ORDERED that the time within which petitioner shall pay the filing fee, is extended to September 10, 2021. If, by September 10, 2021, no filing fee is received, the Court may dismiss this case for lack of jurisdiction.
