Plaintiff, a prisoner proceeding pro se, brings this civil rights action under 42 U.S.C. § 1983. Pending before the Court is Plaintiffs motion, ECF No. 17, for an extension of time to file a first amended complaint. Good cause appearing therefor, Plaintiffs motion is granted. Plaintiffs first amended complaint filed on August 2, 2021, is deemed timely. The sufficiency of Plaintiff s first amended complaint will be addressed separately.

IT IS SO ORDERED.
