JIMMY LEE MENIFEE, Appellant v. MR. WOODY, CEO OF BRIDGE HOMELESS SHELTER AND ALL OF MANAGEMENT, Appellee

On Appeal from the County Court at Law No. 3 Dallas County, Texas Trial Court Cause No. CC-20-04820-C

ORDER

ROBERT D. BURNS, III CHIEF JUSTICE

Appellant appeals from the trial court's April 12, 2021 order dismissing his case. On the same date, the trial court also signed an order declaring appellant to be a vexatious litigant. Before the Court is appellant's January 11, 2022 motion asking that he be removed from the vexatious litigants' list. We construe appellant's motion as a motion to amend his notice of appeal to include the vexatious litigant order. We GRANT the motion. The appeal shall encompass both the dismissal and vexatious litigant orders.

By letter dated November 18, 2022, we directed appellant to file an amended brief correcting noted deficiencies. To date, appellant has not complied. Appellant shall file an amended/corrected brief addressing both appealed orders by January 28, 2022. We caution appellant that failure to comply may result in dismissal of the appeal without further notice. See Tex. R. App. P. 38.8(a)(1).
