JOSHUA MENESSES v. LOUISIANA DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY AND CORRECTIONS
In Re: Joshua Menesses, applying for supervisory writs, 19th Judicial District Court, Parish of East Baton Rouge, No. 641898. BEFORE: WHIPPLE, C.J., GUIDRY AND McCLENDON, JJ.
WRIT GRANTED WITH ORDER. The district court's October 24, 2016 judgment dismissing Menesses' petition for judicial review is a final, appealable judgment. La. R.S. 15:1177(A)(10). Therefore, the writ is granted for the limited purpose of remanding the case to the district court with instructions to grant the relator an appeal pursuant to relator's notice of intent to seek writs filed on November 18, 2016. See In Re Howard, 541 So.2d 195, 197 (La. 1989). Additionally, a copy of this Court's order is to be included in the appellate record.
