JOSE MANUEL MENDEZ, Appellant v. THE STATE OF TEXAS, Appellee

On Appeal from the Criminal District Court No. 4 Dallas County, Texas Trial Court Cause No. F22-75162

ORDER

NANCY KENNEDY JUSTICE

The reporter's record is overdue. On February 13, 2024, appellant's counsel sent court reporter Charon Evans a written request for the reporter's record. The record was originally due April 8, 2024. On April 12, 2024, this Court notified Ms. Evans that the reporter's record was overdue and directed her to file the reporter's record within thirty days. As of the date of this order, the reporter's record has not been filed, and Ms. Evans has not communicated with this Court concerning this appeal.

Accordingly, we ORDER court reporter Charon Evans to file the complete reporter's record in this appeal on or before JUNE 5, 2024. We caution Ms. Evans that should she fail to file the complete reporter's record within the time stated, the Court will utilize whatever remedies it has available, which may include ordering that she not sit as a court reporter until she files the complete reporter's record in this appeal.

We DIRECT the Clerk to send copies of this order to the Honorable Dominique Collins, Presiding Judge, Criminal District Court No. 4, Dallas County; Charon Evans, Official Court Reporter, Criminal District Court No. 4; Christina O'Neil, Chief Judicial Staff Counsel for the Criminal District Courts, Dallas County; and counsel for all parties.
