We REINSTATE this appeal.
On November 19, 2024, we ordered the trial court to remove attorney Valencia Bush as appointed counsel for appellant and to appoint new counsel. On November 21, 2024, the trial court appointed attorney Michael Mowla to represent appellant. On December 3, 2024, Ms. Bush filed an Anders brief, a motion to withdraw from representing appellant, and a motion for extension of time to file the brief.
We DIRECT the Clerk to remove Valencia Bush and to add Michael Mowla as counsel for appellant.
We STRIKE the December 3, 2024 brief, motion to withdraw, and motion for extension of time to file the brief filed by Ms. Bush.
We ORDER Michael Mowla to file appellant's brief on or before JANUARY 8, 2024.
We DIRECT the Clerk to send copies of this order to the Honorable Stephanie Huff, Presiding Judge, 291st Judicial District Court; Dallas County Auditor's Office; and counsel for all parties.
We DIRECT the Clerk to send a copy of this order by first class mail to Efren Medina, TDCJ # 02441422, Michael Unit, 2664 FM 2054, Tennessee Colony, TX 75886.
