DONALD S. MCREYNOLDS, Petitioner v. COMMISSIONER OF INTERNAL REVENUE, Respondent

ORDER

Mark V. Holmes Judge

This case was on the Court's May 1, 2023 San Francisco, California trial calendar. It's based on third-party records of income reported to the IRS from numerous trades in a virtual currency. The Commissioner moved without opposition on April 14 for a continuance to enable him to subpoena records from Coinbase.com. That worked, and both parties will now need to review those records. But the case is likely to settle, and it is

ORDERED that on or before November 1, 2023 respondent shall file a status report describing the parties' progress toward settlement.
