ORDER DISMISSING APPEAL

This is an appeal from a district court order denying a motion to reconsider appellant's sentence. Eighth Judicial District Court, Clark County; Doug Smith, Judge. No statute or court rule provides for an appeal from such an order. See Castillo v. State, 106 Nev. 349, 352, 792 P.2d 1133, 1135 (1990). Further, to the extent that the order can be construed as an order denying a motion to modify sentence, the notice of appeal was filed on January 20, 2012, well after the 30–day appeal period prescribed by NRAP 4(b). See Edwards v. State, 112 Nev. 704, 709, 918 P.2d 321, 325 (1996). We lack jurisdiction to consider this appeal, see Lozada v. State, 110 Nev. 349, 352, 871 P.2d 944, 946 (1994), and we

ORDER this appeal DISMISSED.
