ORDER

We REINSTATE this appeal.

We abated the appeal for a hearing to determine whether appellant was entitled to court-appointed counsel in this appeal. On January 9, 2018, the trial court held a hearing and determined (1) appellant was indigent, and (2) Mr. Lawrence Mitchell had previously been appointed to represent appellant on appeal and will continue to represent appellant.

We DIRECT the Clerk to list Lawrence Mitchell as appointed counsel in this appeal.

The reporter's record was filed December 5, 2017, but to date, the clerk's record has not been filed. We ORDER Dallas County District Clerk Felicia Pitre to file the clerk's record in this appeal within FOURTEEN DAYS of the date of this order.

We DIRECT the Clerk to send a copy of this order to Dallas County District Clerk Felicia Pitre and to counsel for all parties.
