McCants v. State

District Court of Appeal of Florida, Second District.
Oct 10, 2013
146 So. 3d 35 (Fla. Dist. Ct. App. 2013)

Opinion

No. 2D13–4481.

10-10-2013

James McCANTS, Appellant/Petitioner(s), v. STATE of Florida, Appellee/Respondent(s).

Opinion

BY ORDER OF THE COURT.

As it appears that the petitioner is represented by counsel in the proceeding in the trial court, the petition for writ of prohibition is dismissed. See Logan v. State, 846 So.2d 472 (Fla.2003).

This dismissal encompasses the notice of joinder filed by Aaron Ivy and the notice to clerk of court filed by Mesi Williams. To the extent that the petitioner and his codefendants wish to raise a new challenge in this court, each should file his or her own petition, attaching orders directed to him or her.

SILBERMAN, LaROSE, and SLEET, JJ., Concur.
