DISCIPLINARY MATTERS
ORDER
BEVERLY K. THOMPSON of CHERRY HILL having been ordered to show cause why she should not be temporarily suspended, transferred to disability inactive status, or disbarred or otherwise disciplined, and said BEVERLY K. THOMPSON having appeared before this Court on the return date of the Orders to Show Cause,
And respondent having submitted a report from John R. Rushton, III, M.D., that informed the Court that respondent has been directed to cease all gainful responsibilities,
And respondent having requested the opportunity to secure counsel to represent her in these proceedings,
And good cause appearing;
It is ORDERED that BEVERLY K. THOMPSON be transferred to disability inactive status pursuant to Rule 1:20-9, effective immediately and until further Order of the Court; and it is further
ORDERED that the Orders to Show Cause entered by this Court on January 14, 1988, and February 2, 1988, are hereby adjourned to Tuesday, March 15, 1988, at 2:00 p.m. in the Supreme Court Courtroom, Hughes Justice Complex, Trenton, New Jersey; and it is further
ORDERED that respondent shall also show cause on that date why the Order transferring her to disability inactive status should not be continued pending the final resolution of the ethics proceedings against her and until the further Order of this Court; and it is further
ORDERED that respondent shall inform the Clerk of this Court and the Office of Attorney Ethics of the name of her attorney by no later than March 1, 1988; and it is further
ORDERED that counsel for respondent shall serve and file an original and eight copies with the Clerk of this Court and two copies with the Office of Attorney Ethics of any an all applications made on behalf of the respondent, said applications to be made on or before March 8, 1988; and it is further
ORDERED that the Office of Attorney Ethics shall respond to any such applications on or before March 14, 1988.
