DISCIPLINARY MATTERS
ORDER
This matter come before the Court on an Order to show cause why BEVERLY K. THOMPSON of CHERRY HILL should not be temporarily suspended, disbarred, or otherwise disciplined and, further, why she should not be continued on Disability Inactive status pursuant to Rule 1:20-9,
And respondent having made application to be removed from Disability Inactive status and restored to eligibility to practice,
And the Court having heard the argument of counsel, and having reviewed the record, and having determined that the complaints against respondent disclose of pattern of neglect and inattention that may be affected by her physical condition,
And the record in terms of her request for relief from Disability Inactive status being unclear,
And it appearing that there are disciplinary matters in another jurisdiction whose bearing on respondent's fitness to practice law in this state remain unexplained,
And good cause appearing;
It is ORDERED that BEVERLY K. THOMPSON is temporarily suspended from the practice of law, effective immediately and until the further Order of this Court; and it is further
ORDERED that the final disposition of this matter shall abide the resolution of proceedings pending against respondent in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania; and it is further
ORDERED that respondent is restrained and enjoined from practicing law during the period of her suspension and that she comply with Regulation 23 of the Office of Attorney Ethics governing the conduct of suspended attorneys; and it is further
ORDERED that this Order supersedes the Court's Order of February 17, 1988; and it is further
ORDERED that the imposition of this suspension shall be without prejudice to an appropriate application from respondent seeking restoration.
