Decided August 14, 2000.

Chief Judge Kaye and Judges Smith, Levine, Ciparick, Wesley, Rosenblatt and Graffeo concur.


On the Court's own motion, it is determined that Hon. Paul E. Kowtna is suspended, with pay, effective immediately, from his office of Judge of the County Court, Nassau County, pursuant to New York State Constitution, Article 6, § 22 and Judiciary Law § 44 subd. 8.
