Matter of Support Collection Unit v. Williams

Appellate Division of the Supreme Court of New York, Second Department
May 17, 1999
261 A.D.2d 551 (N.Y. App. Div. 1999)

Opinion

May 17, 1999

Appeal from the Family Court, Westchester County (Scancarelli, J.).

Ordered that the orders are affirmed, with one bill of costs.

Contrary to the appellant's contention, the Family Court had jurisdiction pursuant to Family Court Act § 453 Fam. Ct. Act to order his incarceration ( cf., Matter of Ellis v. Ellis, 85 A.D.2d 602).

The appellant's remaining contentions are without merit.

Sullivan, J. P., Krausman, Florio and Smith, JJ., concur.
