DISCIPLINARY MATTERS
ORDER TO SHOW CAUSE
The Division of Ethics and Professional Services of the Administrative Office of the Courts having petitioned the Supreme Court of New Jersey for an order temporarily suspending JOSEPH R. MENNA of Clementon from the practice of law pursuant to R. 1:20-3(i) and R. 1:20-4(b) and for certain restraints on said attorney's business and trust accounts pursuant to R. 1:20-5(b) and for authorization to take appropriate protective action pursuant to R. 1:20-5(b) and good cause appearing:
It is ORDERED that JOSEPH R. MENNA of Clementon is temporarily suspended from the practice of law, effective immediately and until further order of the Court; and it is further
ORDERED that all funds presently existing in any New Jersey banking institution maintained by JOSEPH R. MENNA, pursuant to R. 1:21-6, relating to his law practice shall not be disbursed pending further order of this Court. This restraint shall specifically include, but shall not be limited to, trust account # 664-517-0 and business account # 664-516-2 at the Heritage Bank, N.A., Cherry Hill, New Jersey 08834 or any branches thereof, and it is further
ORDERED that the Division of Ethics and Professional Services take such protective action pursuant to R. 1:20-5(b) as may be appropriate pending the further order of this Court; and it is further
ORDERED that JOSEPH R. MENNA show cause before this Court on Tuesday, September 14, 1982, at 10:00 A.M., in the Supreme Court Courtroom, State House Annex, 4th Floor, Trenton, New Jersey, why the suspension and restraints herein should not continue pending final disposition of any complaints against him before the District IV Ethics Committee and until further order of the Court, and further why the funds restrained from disbursement by this Order should not be transmitted by the banks which are the present custodians to the Clerk of the Superior Court for deposit in the Superior Court Trust Fund pending further order of this Court; and it is further
ORDERED that Colette A. Coolbaugh, Esq., or her designee, present this matter to the Court; and it is further
ORDERED that JOSEPH R. MENNA show cause before this Court on the date and at the place aforesaid why the Division of Ethics and Professional Services should not be directed to take further appropriate action to gain possession and control of the current legal files and records of JOSEPH R. MENNA pursuant to R. 1:20-5(b); and it is further
ORDERED that said JOSEPH R. MENNA is hereby restrained and enjoined from practicing law during the period of his suspension and further directed to comply with all the regulations of the Disciplinary Review Board governing suspended, disbarred and resigned attorneys; and it is further
ORDERED that service of this order to show cause be made upon respondent at his office address 1230 Blackwood-Clementon Road, Clementon, New Jersey 08021 by certified mail.
