DISCIPLINARY MATTERS
ORDER
The Office of Attorney Ethics having duly petitioned this Court for emergent relief seeking the immediate temporary suspension of WILLIAM E. HOGAN, JR., formerly of HIGHLAND LAKES, who was admitted to the bar of this State in 1968, and it appearing that respondent, through counsel, having presented the testimony of respondent's treating physician to the district ethics committee, which testimony sets forth that respondent's medical problems render respondent unable to function or handle the professional responsibilities required of a lawyer, and good cause appearing;
It is ORDERED that WILLIAM E. HOGAN, JR. is transferred to disability inactive status pursuant to Rule 1:20-9, effective immediately and until further Order of the Court; and it is further
ORDERED that WILLIAM E. HOGAN, JR. is ineligible to practice law; and it is further
ORDERED that the Office of Attorney Ethics take such protective action pursuant to R. 1:20-11(c), as may be appropriate to gain possession and control of the legal files, records, practice and trust assets of WILLIAM E. HOGAN, JR. wherever situate, pending further order of this Court; and it is further
ORDERED that all funds, if any, presently existing in any New Jersey financial institution pursuant to R. 1:21-6 shall be restrained from disbursement except upon application to this Court, for good cause shown, pending the further order of this Court; and it is further
ORDERED that the respondent may move on an application for good cause shown, for modification of this Order or the restraints contained herein; and it is further
ORDERED that WILLIAM E. HOGAN, JR. be restrained and enjoined from practicing law during the period of his suspension; and it is further
ORDERED that respondent comply with the provisions of Administrative Guideline No. 23 of the Office of Attorney Ethics governing suspended attorneys.
