DISCIPLINARY MATTERS

ORDER

JOSEPH J. HIGGINS of FORT LAUDERDALE, FLORIDA, who was admitted to the bar of this State in 1958, having pleaded guilty to mail fraud, making a false statement, failure to disclose facts, and falsely testifying under oath, and good cause appearing;

It is ORDERED that, pursuant to R. 1:20-6(a)(1), JOSEPH J. HIGGINS is temporarily suspended from the practice of law pending the final resolution of the ethics complaint pending against him, effective immediately, and until the further order of this Court; and it is further

ORDERED that JOSEPH J. HIGGINS be restrained and enjoined from practicing law during the period of his suspension; and it is further

ORDERED that JOSEPH J. HIGGINS comply with Administrative Guideline No. 23 of the Office of Attorney Ethics dealing with suspended, disbarred or resigned attorneys.
