DISCIPLINARY MATTERS

CONSENT ORDER

THIS MATTER, having been opened to the Court by Colette A. Coolbaugh, Assistant Director, Division of Ethics and Professional Services, and with the consent of the Respondent, Francis T. Gleason, Jr., and it appearing that the Division of Ethics and Professional Services and Respondent having agreed to Respondent being temporarily suspended from the practice of law, together with the additional relief provided in this Order, pending final disposition of the ethics complaints pending against him before the District VII Ethics Committee.

IT IS ORDERED that:

1. Francis T. Gleason, Jr. is temporarily suspended from the practice of law, effective immediately, pending final determination of the ethics complaints against him, and until further Order of the Court.

2. The Division of Ethics and Professional Services take appropriate action to gain possession and control of the legal files and records of Francis T. Gleason, Jr., wherever situate, pursuant to R. 1:20-5(b).

3. All banking institutions in which accounts are maintained by Francis T. Gleason, Jr. pursuant to R. 1:21-6, including, but not limited to, Somerset Trust Company, 50 West Main Street, Somerville, New Jersey 08876, (Trustee Account No. 03-542-8, and Business Account No. 03-541-0), shall be restrained from disbursing such funds and shall transmit all of such funds to the Clerk of the Superior Court for deposit in the Superior Court Trust Fund pending the further Order of this Court.

4. Francis T. Gleason, Jr. is hereby restrained and enjoined from disbursing funds from any of the foregoing bank accounts.

5. Francis T. Gleason, Jr. shall comply with all of the Regulations of the Disciplinary Review Board governing suspended, disbarred or resigned attorneys.

We hereby consent to the entry and form of the above Consent Order.
