DISCIPLINARY MATTERS
CONSENT ORDER
THIS MATTER, having been opened to the Court by COLETTE A. COOLBAUGH, Assistant Director, Division of Ethics and Professional Services by DAVID E. JOHNSON, JR., Chief, Division of Ethics and Professional Services, and with the consent of the Respondent and Richard L. Barbour, Esq., attorney for Respondent, and it appearing that the Division of Ethics and Professional Services and Respondent having agreed to Respondent being temporarily suspended from the practice of law, together with the additional relief provided in this Order, pending final disposition of the ethics complaints against him before the District III Ethics Committee,
IT IS ORDERED that:
1. John Douglas Crowley is temporarily suspended from the practice of law, effective immediately, pending final determination of the ethics complaints against him, and until further Order of the Court.
2. The Division of Ethics and Professional Services take appropriate action to gain possession and control of the legal files and records of John Douglas Crowley wherever situate, pursuant to R. 1:20-5(b).
3. All funds presently existing in any New Jersey banking institution including, but not limited to, First Peoples Bank, East Main Street, Tuckerton, New Jersey, Trustee Account No. 2-116-416; Bay State Bank, 1501 Long Beach Boulevard, ship Bottom, New Jersey, Trustee Account No. 11-0038-8 and Business Account No. 11-0397-6; and Southern Ocean State Bank, U.S. Highway 9, Tuckerton, New Jersey, Trustee Account No. 020-125-1 maintained by John Douglas Crowley pursuant to R. 1:21-6 shall be restrained from disbursement and shall be transmitted by the banks which are the present custodians thereof to the Clerk of the Superior Court for deposit in the Superior Court Trust Fund pending the further order of this Court.
4. John Douglas Crowley is hereby restrained and enjoined from disbursing funds from any of the foregoing bank accounts.
5. John Douglas Crowley shall comply with all the regulations of the Disciplinary Review Board governing suspended, disbarred or resigned attorneys.
We hereby consent to the entry and form of the above Consent Order.
