Upon reading and filing an exemplified copy of the indictment against Marsenus H. Briggs, charging him with having committed a felony, and an exemplified copy of the record of conviction, and a sentence imposed in virtue of the statute in such cases made and provided, imprisoning him in the State's prison, at Auburn, for the period of one year and six months upon such conviction of such felony, and such facts being made to appear by an exemplified copy of the judgment of such conviction, it is ordered that the name of Marsenus H. Briggs be and the same is hereby stricken from the roll of attorneys and counselors at law of the State of New York. And it is further ordered, that the clerk of this court attach the order to the original papers now presented to the court and enter the order in his minutes, and file the original order with the exemplified papers presented on the application to disbar the said Briggs.
