DISCIPLINARY MATTERS
ORDER
EDWIN B. BORISON of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, who was admitted to the bar of this State in 1965, having been ordered to show cause why he should not be disbarred or otherwise disciplined for his conviction for making a false statement in connection with corporate activities in violation of former N.J.S.A. 2A:111-2 (repealed by L. 1978, c. 95, § 2C:98-2, effective September 1, 1979);
And it appearing that respondent's conviction arose from his signing a financial report in 1970 that contained a false income figure and that the within disciplinary proceedings were inadvertantly delayed due to circumstances similar to those of Matter of DiBiasi, 102 N.J. 152 (1986), and that respondent's offense neither related directly to the practice of law nor touched upon the administration of justice;
And the Court having determined that under the circumstances, a six months' suspension from the practice of law is the appropriate sanction to be imposed;
It is ORDERED that EDWIN B. BORISON be suspended from the practice of law for a period of six months, effective immediately and until the further Order of this Court; and it is further
ORDERED that EDWIN B. BORISON be and hereby is restrained and enjoined from practicing law during the period of his suspension; and it is further
ORDERED that respondent reimburse the Ethics Financial Committee for the appropriate administrative costs arising out of the prosecution of this disciplinary matter; and it is further
ORDERED that respondent comply with Administrative Guideline No. 23 of the Office of Attorney Ethics dealing with suspended attorneys.
