HAROLD GENE MARTINEZ, JR., Appellant v. THE STATE OF TEXAS, Appellee

On Appeal from the 401st Judicial District Court Collin County, Texas Trial Court Cause Nos. 401-85385-2021, 401-85386-2021

ORDER

NANCY KENNEDY JUSTICE

We REINSTATE this appeal.

We abated this appeal for the trial court to make findings and recommendations concerning the filing of appellant's brief. The trial court filed the findings and recommendations.

The trial court's findings include, "The delay in filing Appellant's brief is due to Ms. [Kristen] Brown's personal family interruption which occurred in late 2023 and which caused her to fall substantially behind in her professional obligations." The trial court recommended granting Ms. Brown an extension of time until April 18, 2024, to file appellant's brief. We accept the trial court's findings and recommendations.

We ORDER Kristen Brown to file appellant's brief on or before APRIL 18, 2024.
