Michael Jay MARKEY, Jr., and Michael Markey Governor Race Candidate Committee, Plaintiffs-Appellants, v. SECRETARY OF STATE, Bureau of Elections, and Board of State Canvassers, Defendants-Appellees.

Order

On order of the Court, the motions for immediate consideration and for Keeana Fleurissaint to file a brief amicus curiae are GRANTED. The application for leave to appeal the June 1, 2022 order of the Court of Appeals is considered, and it is DENIED, because we are not persuaded that the question presented should be reviewed by this Court.

Viviano, J. (concurring).

I concur in the denial of leave to appeal for the reasons stated in my concurrence in Johnson v. Bd. of State Canvassers , 509 Mich. ––––, ––––, 974 N.W.2d 235 (2022).

Bernstein, J., would order oral argument.
