This case was calendared for trial during the Court's March 22, 2021, Los Angeles, California, remote trial session. On January 26, 2021, respondent filed a Motion to Remand (Doc. 7). The Court granted the Motion, and the case was remanded to the IRS Independent Office of Appeals.

On July 7, 2023, the parties filed a Joint Status Report (Doc. 37) informing the Court that the "Appeals Officer requested that petitioner provide additional documents focusing on a different aspect of the case, which petitioner's counsel will provide in the coming weeks." Upon due consideration, it is hereby

ORDERED that, on or before October 2, 2023, the parties shall file with the Court either a joint report (or, if that is not expedient, then separate reports) describing the status of the case or a stipulated decision document.
