ANGEL MALDONADO, Appellant v. THE STATE OF TEXAS, Appellee

On Appeal from the Criminal District Court No. 4 Dallas County, Texas Trial Court Cause Nos. F19-59968-K, F19-59970-K &F19-59969-K.

ORDER

DENNISE GARCIA, JUSTICE.

Before the Court is appellant's September 15, 2022 motion for extension of time to file appellant's briefs. In the motion, appellant requests a sixty-day extension on his briefs because he has requested the court reporter supplement the record with a transcript of a hearing on appellant's motion for new trial held on September 8, 2022.

We ORDER the court reporter to file a supplemental reporter's record of the motion for new trial hearing by October 17, 2022.

Because appellant's brief is not due until the record is complete, we DENY AS MOOT the premature motion for extension of appellant's briefs. Appellant's briefs are due thirty days after the supplemental reporter's record is filed.

We DIRECT the Clerk to transmit a copy of this order to Charon Evans, official court reporter, Criminal District Court No. 4; and to counsel for the parties.
