IN THE MATTER OF JASMINE MALDONADO, PETITIONER-RESPONDENT, v. THOMAS C. CAPPETTA, RESPONDENT-APPELLANT.


PRESENT:

Appeals having been taken herein from orders of the Family Court, Oswego County, entered July 16, 2019, and July 12, 2019, and petitioner-respondent having applied for permission to proceed as a poor person and for assignment of counsel,

Now, upon reading and filing the papers with respect to the application, and due deliberation having been had thereon,

It is hereby ORDERED that, with respect to the appeal taken from the order of Family Court entered July 16, 2019 (CAF 20-00200), the application is dismissed on the ground that the appeal was dismissed by order entered February 24, 2020, and

It is further ORDERED that, with respect to the appeal taken from the order of Family Court entered July 12, 2019 (CAF 20-00218), the application insofar as it seeks the assignment of counsel is denied on the ground that such relief is not authorized (see Family Court Act §§ 262, 1120 [a]), and the application insofar as it seeks permission to proceed as a poor person is granted.
